Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant has confirmed the compliance of its products with the strict standards applied to military equipment. The next certification audit took place at the enterprise on September 19, 2024.
The company complies with the quality management system requirements of the "military" GOST RV 0015-002-2020 and the international standard ISO 9001-2015.
The audit was carried out for the design, development, production and sale of cars and trucks and spare parts for them. The survey was conducted by specialists from the certification body of quality management systems LLC "MONOLIT-Sert". As the company clarified, the document is mandatory to confirm the validity of the license for the right to perform work within the framework of the state defense order.
Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant specializes in the production of all-wheel drive passenger and commercial vehicles, as well as minibuses under the UAZ brand.
GOST RV 0015-002-2020 establishes requirements for quality management systems of organizations engaged in research, development, production, supply, operation, repair and disposal of military products.
ISO 9001:2015 is an international certification standard that establishes requirements for quality management systems and defines criteria for effective management aimed at achieving maximum productivity in the workplace.
Recall that a real scandal recently erupted around the "Loaf", it was declared unsuitable for use on public roads. The vice-president of the National Automobile Union, Yan Khaitseer, said that such a car should be recognized as special equipment. In particular, the UAZ is used by the Russian military on the front line, and the company even developed a protection complex for the SUV.
