Russian fighters on the front lines have begun using a flamethrower drone. This is their own development, which is a fairly simple but effective system.
The flamethrower drone received a powerful engine and automatic ignition of the incendiary mixture, after which it falls and detonates powerfully.
The mixture is ignited using an electric detonator, and the ammunition itself, which is attached to the drone, resembles a thermite grenade. The innovation will help, in particular, to fight the enemy who has settled in the forest belt.
At the same time, military expert Alexander Pylaev noted that the multiple launch rocket systems in service with the Russian Armed Forces cope with such tasks approximately three times more efficiently.
Therefore, the main question is where and for what purposes this drone will be used. Perhaps it will be used against small infantry units in the combat zone.
Earlier www1.ru wrote that Russia launched mass production of the Vizir naval drone. It is controlled by artificial intelligence, without the participation of an operator.
