The Aeroflot Group's schedule includes information that Rossiya Airlines is resuming flights on double-decker Boeing 747s. Flights on these aircraft on the Moscow-Krasnoyarsk route are scheduled for September 22, 29 and 30, and have been added due to increased demand for this destination, the airline's press service said.
The airline also noted that the schedule includes three flights on one aircraft so far.
The airline plans to put the second aircraft of this type - RA-73286 Nizhny Novgorod - into operation at the end of September. One-off flights are operated as part of the Aeroflot Group's schedule.
It is worth noting that Rossiya is the only airline using double-decker aircraft. The Boeing 747 is designed for 525 passengers.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that S7 will receive 100 modernized Tu-214 passenger aircraft.
