Russia's main arms concern, Kalashnikov, has included the Karakurt drone in the third-generation "Legionnaire" combat gear it is developing. Army Recognition drew attention to the UAV and highlighted its advantages.

"Karakurt" is a mini-reconnaissance drone designed for aerial surveillance, capable of transmitting data in real time. One of its features is maneuverability and the ability to launch in a confined space using a compact transport and launch container (tube)
This feature, as well as its light weight and speed, makes the Karakurt useful in the field. In addition, the drone is compatible with existing communication systems and meets the current needs of the defense sector.
