Head of AvtoVAZ Maxim Sokolov spoke about the crossover based on LADA Vesta, the first body of which, according to insiders, will be assembled in December. The top manager stated that work is in full swing.
Work is underway with component suppliers, the design has been approved. It will also have character.
He declined to reveal any details about the car, noting that the model will be launched in 2026. It will be presented at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum.
The car will be produced in Togliatti at the vacated capacities of the assembly line, which was previously occupied by the assembly of LADA Largus.
Earlier, insiders reported that by December of this year, not only the first body of the crossover based on LADA Vesta will be assembled, but also all the internal equipment of the body should be prepared.
