The company sent an official notification to Roskomnadzor

The "Spasskiye Vorota" insurance company has notified Roskomnadzor about a personal data breach of its customers. This is reported by the press service of the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media.

The company sent an official notification to Roskomnadzor, and the agency is currently conducting an audit.

According to data circulated in Telegram channels, it is assumed that significant amounts of company customer data have been leaked. It is reported that approximately 70,000 unique phone numbers, 100,000 unique email addresses, as well as hashed passwords and other personal information have been compromised.

According to the law on personal data, the operator who allowed the leak is obliged to notify Roskomnadzor within 24 hours after the incident is detected. If the fact of the leak is confirmed and violations in ensuring data security are identified, the "Spasskiye Vorota" insurance company may be fined up to 100 thousand rubles in accordance with Article 13.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Administrative Code).
