The latest K-4386 "Typhoon-VDV" armored vehicle with an additional mesh "barbecue grill" against drone attacks has been spotted on the front line. This is a two-axle combat vehicle that also has a high level of mine protection.
The uninhabited combat module of the "Typhoon" with an isolated ammunition compartment is equipped with a 7.62-mm Kalashnikov machine gun and a 30-mm rapid-fire 2A42 gun. The fire control system meets modern requirements and allows engaging the enemy at any time of the day.
The main structural difference of the K-4386 model is the armored hull, which allows the vehicle to be parachuted without consequences due to increased rigidity and strength.
The combined protection of the armored hull provides protection against the damaging factors of small arms, explosive devices and shell fragments. The vehicle is equipped with energy-absorbing seats for the landing party and crew.
