The Kalashnikov arms concern has included the Karakurt drone in the third-generation Legionnaire combat equipment it is developing. The drone is currently being tested on the front lines.
Military personnel noted that the tactical and technical characteristics of the Karakurt provide high awareness on the battlefield and speed up their decision-making in combat conditions.
Karakurt is a mini-reconnaissance UAV with the ability to conduct aerial reconnaissance with data transmission to the operator in real time. One of the drone's features is the maneuverability of launching in confined spaces from a compact tube.

In October 2022, it became known that Kalashnikov is developing the promising Legionnaire military equipment. The composite armor will have shock absorption that can stop fragments traveling at speeds of up to 670 meters per second and prevent organ contusions and fractures.
Lushnikov noted that the equipment of soldiers should include individual reconnaissance and destruction equipment.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Kalashnikov has begun work on unifying the catapult for guided loitering munitions and unmanned aerial vehicles of its own production.
