Angara-1.2 carrier rocket successfully launched from Plesetsk cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk region

Russian Ministry of Defense showed footage of the launch of the Angara-1.2 carrier rocket

The Russian Aerospace Forces successfully launched the Angara-1.2 carrier rocket from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk region.

The rocket was launched at 10:00 local time. The Angara-1.2 light-class carrier rocket successfully placed spacecraft intended for the Russian Ministry of Defense into target orbits.

After the launch, the rocket was taken over for tracking by ground-based facilities of the automated control complex of the German Titov Main Test Space Center. The spacecraft were placed into calculated orbits at the set time and are under the control of ground-based facilities of the Space Forces of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

Stable telemetry communication with the spacecraft has been established and is being maintained, and their onboard systems are functioning normally.
