Russian Ministry of Defense Shows Footage of Angara-1.2 Launch Vehicle Launch

The Aerospace Forces of Russia successfully launched the Angara-1.2 launch vehicle from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk Region.

The rocket was launched at 10:00 local time. The Angara-1.2 light-class launch vehicle successfully placed spacecraft intended for the Russian Ministry of Defense into their target orbits.

After the launch, the rocket was taken under escort by ground-based facilities of the automated control complex of the German Titov Main Test Space Center. The spacecraft were placed into their calculated orbits at the set time and are under the control of ground-based facilities of the Aerospace Forces.

Stable telemetry communication with the spacecraft has been established and is being maintained, and their onboard systems are functioning normally.
