The Moscow Department of Transportation will begin testing parking lots where the parking price changes depending on the workload. Anyone can participate in the tests, which will begin on September 16 and last until the end of the month.
Depending on the location of the parking lot and the time of day, you can park your car both for free and for up to 600 rubles per hour. The experiment will be conducted in Ilyinka, Rozhdestvensky Boulevard, Tverskaya Zastava and Novaya squares, as well as in Nikitsky Lane. To participate in testing dynamic pricing in parking lots, you need to apply on the Moscow Parking website
Maksim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry, explained that the cost of parking will depend on the workload of parking spaces. If the parking lot is not full, it may become free. As the number of cars in the parking lot increases, the rate will increase.
