Drivers will be able to park for free:
- from January 1 to 8
- from February 23 to 24
- from March 8 to 9
- from April 29 to 30
- May 1
- from May 9 to 11
- June 12
- November 4
- from December 30 to 31
This year there will be 51 Sundays, on these days you can not pay for parking, except for streets with tariffs of 380 rubles/hour and 450 rubles/hour. The department clarified that parking lots with a barrier will continue to operate at normal rates.
According to the head of the Moscow Department of Transportation, Maxim Liksutov, 21 new parking lots with barriers appeared in Moscow in 2023. More than a thousand courtyards were improved with the money received by the capital's authorities from parking.
