Russian artillery units have halved the loading time of shells onto the launch vehicles of the Uragan MLRS compared to current standards. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The ministry noted that in this way, the artillerymen not only increased the intensity of fire on enemy targets, but also reduced the risks of being hit by counter-battery fire.
We are constantly charging. We work in any weather and at any time of the day. There are enough ammunition, they are delivered often.
The 220-mm Uragan MLRS is designed to engage manpower, armored vehicles on the march and in concentration areas, military infrastructure facilities, and destroy command posts at a distance of 10 to 35 km. The system was adopted into service in 1975.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Kalashnikov arms concern is unifying the catapult for UAVs and loitering munitions. Testing of a prototype has already begun.
