A 3D printer for printing houses will be installed at the Tomsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (TSUACE). The agreement was signed between the university and Smart build Service.
The height of the 3D printer is more than 8 m. Such devices are already effectively used in the creation of low-rise buildings.
As part of the Engineering Extreme project, we face the task of creating special mixtures for the technology of printing building objects. These are primarily compositions according to the requirements of potential customers for the construction of objects or entire blocks, taking into account geological and climatic conditions, number of floors and operating features.
The university will also have a laboratory in which it is planned to create new materials and technologies for printing houses.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a new project for printing housing is being developed in Tomsk.
