Дилеры массово повысили цены на автомобили в России

They Didn't Wait for New Recycling Fee Rates

New cars have become more expensive in Russia, despite the fact that the recycling fee rate has not yet increased. Experts believed that the cost of cars would rise after October 1, when new recycling fee rates might be adopted, but dealers decided not to wait.

Perhaps this is due to increased demand for cars in early autumn. In addition to price increases, loyalty programs have also been cut. Experts are convinced that as soon as the recycling fee increases, prices will skyrocket even more, and cars with an engine capacity of up to 3 liters will become even more expensive by 100-200 thousand.

Renat Tyukteev, Deputy Director of Avilon, believes that the price increase will affect cars with high localization to a lesser extent. In addition, models that are in sufficient quantity in dealers' warehouses may increase in price insignificantly.

A bleak forecast is given by Igor Chikin, head of the Association of Russian Automobile Dealers. According to him, cars are becoming a luxury item and this will continue. Meanwhile, the Russian car fleet continues to age.
