Russian troops are increasingly using drones to clear territories of various explosive objects. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
First, a reconnaissance drone is launched into the required area, which detects abandoned traps, unexploded ordnance, and explosive objects at the lowest possible altitudes.
Demining takes place as soon as possible, and personnel remain at a safe distance.
We fly at a sufficient distance to work. The birds are also good, we rework them for ourselves. When we arrive at a position, we analyze the frequencies, check which ones the enemy is flying on. We look at all this and from this we conclude which frequency we should set. Now we fly without problems, everything is cool.
The "aerial demining" method has become relevant due to the installation of laser and seismic sensors on modern mines, which makes it impossible for a sapper to approach them. Also, the operation of enemy unmanned aircraft interferes with demining using standard methods.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the "Caliber" carrier submarine "Velikiye Luki" armed itself with a large-caliber Utes machine gun. It can be used against drones.
