17 тысяч долларов за штуку: Bulgarian Military заявило о закупках Россией китайских FPV-дронов

Chinese Technology Spotted in the "Knyaz Vandal Novgorodsky" FPV Drone from the "Ushkuy" Company

Russian Armed Forces personnel are using fiber optic FPV drones called "Knyaz Vandal Novgorodsky," which are highly effective. However, the development of these UAVs is linked not to the Russian company "Ushkuynik," but to Chinese engineers, writes Bulgarian Military.

According to some experts, these may be affordable Chinese Skywalker drones costing no more than $2,000. However, as Bulgarian Military writes, Russia is allegedly purchasing UAVs at a price of $17,000 a piece.

Fiber optics guarantee signal quality, are resistant to electromagnetic interference, and transmit data over long distances with minimal loss. This technology is especially useful for tasks requiring secure and reliable communication.

The main advantage of such UAVs is that they cannot be jammed by electronic warfare systems. In China, fiber optic drones are produced by China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation and China Electronics Technology Group Corporation. Both companies receive support from the state.
