В России за доносы на водителей начнут платить деньги

Experiment Launched in Tatarstan

The authorities of Tatarstan have decided to reward concerned Russians for information about traffic violations by drivers. People will be paid for reporting through the "People's Inspector" application.

The amount of the reward is already known. For example, for a video where a negligent driver crossed an intersection on a red light, the reporter will receive 300 rubles; the same reward will be received for a video with a driver not wearing a seat belt or a motorcyclist without a helmet.

Those who film a driver who stopped after the stop line will be rewarded with 230 rubles. The largest payment will be given to people who report a violator entering the oncoming lane or tram tracks of the oncoming direction. The amount of the incentive will be 1440 rubles.

Note that you can also report those who did not give way to pedestrians, drivers with a smartphone in their hands, as well as the release of waste from car production. The main thing is to have a video recording of the illegal act.

Note that a similar application called "Moscow Assistant" operates in the capital. There, users are rewarded with points. They can be spent on paying for parking or travel.
