Su-24 and Su-30SM2 pilots in the Baltic struck an enemy landing party

The maneuvers took place at the Baltic Fleet's naval training grounds

Pilots of Su-24 bombers and Su-30SM2 multi-purpose fighters of the Baltic Fleet's naval aviation took part in flight-tactical exercises, during which they practiced striking surface targets with aviation weapons. The maneuvers took place at the Baltic training grounds, the fleet's press service said.

The press service specified that the bombers and fighters flew to a designated area of the sea. There, they attacked the ships of a mock enemy. 10 aircraft of the Baltic Fleet were involved in the maneuvers.

The pilots also played out tactical episodes on fire support for ground units, destruction of command posts, armored vehicles and enemy landing parties, as well as conducting aerial reconnaissance.
