A special messenger for communication has been created for the Russian military. It has already been tested in the combat zone and received positive feedback from users.
The messenger is completely decentralized: there are no single databases or servers. The chat system allows you to transmit structured information about the tactical situation and exchange geodata.
The software was developed by the volunteer team "Loktar", it combines a built-in combat messenger and tactical maps, allows you to exchange geodata, report on the operational situation and transmit messages.
In combat conditions, the operation of the messenger on the front line without access to the Internet or a server is already a necessary requirement. Therefore, this was initially incorporated into our software, but we also added the ability to transmit data between devices via communication means available on the LBS, such as radio stations or closed Wi-Fi groups on radio links. This allows users on different communication channels to exchange data in one chat.
The development also has built-in means of controlling the type of information transmitted, depending on the bandwidth of the communication means used.
