The Novosibirsk Aviation Plant of the United Aircraft Corporation (part of Rostec) has manufactured and handed over another batch of Su-34 front-line bombers to the Russian Aerospace Forces. The aircraft were manufactured as part of the current year's production program and underwent a series of flight and ground tests.
Vladimir Artyakov, First Deputy General Director of Rostec, noted that it is the Su-34 that uses high-precision ammunition with a universal planning and correction module, which has shown high efficiency on the line of combat contact.
The Su-34s transferred to the troops are distinguished by high flight characteristics and wide capabilities for destroying enemy targets. Today, these aircraft are in high demand in the troops.
The aircraft can operate in any geographical theater of military operations under enemy fire, day and night, in simple and complex meteorological conditions. The bomber is equipped with guided and unguided aviation weapons. In addition, the Su-34 is capable of performing air reconnaissance tasks.
