Grade books and student IDs in electronic format are now available in the "Gosuslugi" application. Now the documents are always at hand, and you can present them by showing a QR code on your smartphone. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation.
The service is available to more than 640 thousand students from 76 universities. By the end of the year, another 90 higher education institutions will connect this feature. It is planned that the electronic student ID will be available to every fourth student, resident, or postgraduate student in Russia.
Documents can be uploaded in the "Education" section on Gosuslugi. The student ID will appear in the application as a QR code. The checker will scan it to confirm the right to a discount or approve entry to the institute's territory.
The electronic student ID allows you to buy discounted travel cards, tickets to concerts, performances, and other events. Payment is made through Gosuslugi.
