Geoscan is launching open testing of the realistic FPV simulator Pioneer Drone Sim. Anyone can participate in piloting Geoscan Pioneer drones until September 30 of this year.
The simulator runs on software that includes the Geoscan Pioneer Basic (with FPV module) and Geoscan Pioneer FPV quadcopters. The first model will be used to develop basic flight control skills. The second is for learning tricks and setting new records on race tracks.
The simulator has different modes. You can perform flight missions, select weather conditions (rain, wind, fog) and time of day. Control is via a compatible radio remote.
The simulator includes three flight modes:
- Acro (Acrobatic) — for practicing tricks, maneuvers and races. Designed for manual control without stabilization.
- PosHold (FullStab) — for shooting from a given position and performing precise maneuvers. Provides flight without the need for correction by holding the drone in one position from a height.
- In Angle — a mode for training novice drone operators. Piloting is smooth, with horizon stabilization and tilt angle limitation.
To participate, you must fill out a form on the company's website https://www.geoscan.ru/ru/software/pioneer_drone_sim.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a simulator for training in the control of all types of drones will appear in Russia.
