The management of the "State Transport Leasing Company" (GTLK) has signed an agreement with the drone operator "Unmanned Aviation Systems" for the leasing of 82 drones with a total value of almost 1 billion rubles. This was reported by the GTLK press service.
Most of the purchased UAVs are light and heavy vehicles, including 4 VT-440m helicopter-type drones. They will be delivered to the customer by the end of 2025.
The head of GTLK, Evgeny Dietrich, stated that the economic effect from UAS is not obtained when buying a drone, but for services with its use. Thus, it is necessary to create conditions for increasing the number of operators, he emphasized.
Preferential leasing facilitates both the process of entering the market for new players and the further development of existing drone operators
"Unmanned Aviation Systems" will use drones in commercial work for aerial photography, geodetic surveys, object monitoring, and cargo delivery.
The CEO of "Unmanned Aviation Systems", Alexey Varyatchenko, noted that cargo transportation is an important area of development. Having purchased heavy VT-440m drones, the company will form a logistics UAV squadron.
GTLK is the executor of the program, according to which drones are supplied at preferential leasing rates for a period of 3-5 years.
