Scammer websites have appeared on the network that collect support for Telegram co-founder Pavel Durov. This was reported by F.A.C.C.T.
One of these resources looks visually similar to the Toncoin cryptocurrency web page. It works without the ability to link an official wallet — only a third-party one. Malicious software is used by hackers to withdraw funds from crypto wallets.
According to Evgeny Egorov, an analyst at the company's Digital Risk Protection Department, cryptocurrency holders should not link their crypto wallets to dubious sites.
It is worth noting that Kaspersky Lab also identified another scam scheme. Scammers sent letters on behalf of human rights organizations, the purpose of which was to "help" Pavel Durov. The message indicated a crypto wallet for donations.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Roskachestvo warned about a new way of deception in Telegram.
