The Russian Mi-28NM "Night Hunter" helicopter has proven effective on the front lines at any time of the day. At night, the crew recognizes targets at long distances and in any lighting conditions thanks to the new night vision system, the Rostec State Corporation said.
The helicopters are also equipped with updated sighting and navigation systems, equipped with advanced computing tools of increased speed. The cockpit is reliably armored, which protects pilots from projectiles up to 20 mm caliber and from armor-piercing bullets.
The Mi-28NM is a helicopter that absolutely does not care when to operate, day or night, in good or bad weather conditions. Its set of guided weapons and onboard equipment, including radar, allow it to engage targets in almost any circumstance. It is very difficult to hide from the "twenty-eighth", the "hunter" will find its prey, even if it is not visible to the human eye and does not emit thermal radiation.
The corporation recalled that the Mi-28NM is a carrier of guided missiles, in particular, "Product 305". The power of this ammunition is enough to destroy armored vehicles, artillery systems, air defense systems, buildings and enemy firing points.
