Seek and Destroy: лодки БК-10 и катера БК-16 не оставят шансов противнику в Черном море

"Rybinsk Shipyard": BK-10 boats and BK-16 cutters fight drones in the Black Sea

Russian BK-16 project 02510 cutters and BK-10 boats effectively combat Ukrainian surface drones — unmanned surface vehicles (BEC) in the Black Sea. Semyon Danilin, General Director of Rybinsk Shipyard, spoke about the advantages of the devices.

They perform excellently both in the fight against BECs and against sabotage groups in the Black Sea. BK-16 or BK-10 catch up with the target and shoot it.

Danilin noted that the boat and cutter are equipped with thermal imagers, so they can be used at night.

The main difference between the BK-16 and BK-10 is the accommodation of up to 20 paratroopers; the cutter has armor protection for the main cable routes and an armored engine compartment. It is armed with six 12.7-millimeter Kord machine guns. A distinctive feature of the cutter is its maneuverability and high speed (45 knots).

At the same time, the BK-10 boat can also be armored: it is possible to install armored plates along the side.

Earlier, Forbes highly appreciated the Russian Vandall Novgorodskiy wired drone. The UAV operates via a fiber optic line, so any electronic warfare equipment is powerless against it.
