The production of LADA Largus cars, which are assembled in Izhevsk, has been updated. The welding and painting complexes have received new equipment.
Thus, two modern welding robots are now working on the body base welding line. With their help, manual labor will be completely replaced in this area. Previously, 74 welding points were welded by welders, and now robots will do it.
AvtoVAZ employees claim that this improvement is only beneficial. The fact is that the robot works better, moving along a pre-set map. In addition, thanks to regular sharpening of the electrodes, there are no areas that are not welded to the end.
But the modernization of the body base welding line is not the only improvement on the production line in Izhevsk. AvtoVAZ employees have also updated the base enamel application chamber. It has been equipped with air conditioners, in addition, working conditions in the working area have been improved.
