The crew of the Russian multi-purpose transport and attack Mi-8AMTSH-VN helicopter of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation destroyed a low-visibility unmanned kamikaze boat Magura-V5 (Maritime Autonomous Guard Unmanned Robotic Apparatus V-type). The footage appeared on the Web.
In the published video, you can see how Russian Armed Forces soldiers are firing aimed fire at an unmanned boat. The Magura-V5, hit by a machine-gun burst, exploded, and a thick black cloud rose into the air.
The Mi-8AMTSH-VN has a new set of weapons installed. The main feature was that, along with small arms and cannon armament, in particular, unguided missiles (B-8V20A), UPK-23-250 containers) and bombs of various calibers (OFAB-250), the helicopter was equipped with a complex of guided missile weapons with an optical-sight system.
In addition, the vehicle is armed with four machine guns: three 12.7-millimeter "Kordas", as well as one 7.62-millimeter KVP in the tail section.
The thermal imaging sensor of the GOES-321MK complex is capable of detecting BECs at a distance of up to 3500 - 5000 m at night.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Mi-28N helicopters adapted for tactical missiles "Chrysanthemum-VM". Their maximum range is at least 5000 meters.
