The Kalashnikov concern has completed the shipment of KUB guided loitering munitions (UBB) to the troops ahead of schedule, as stipulated in the contracts for 2024. The products were sent to the customer in a volume significantly exceeding the stated plan, the company noted.
The increase in production rates was achieved through deep modernization of production and effective operational management in the company.

UBB "KUB" is designed to engage group and single armored vehicle targets in the tactical depth of the enemy. The improvement of the line of guided loitering munitions is carried out through close cooperation with the customer: currently, modernized versions of the "KUB" with increased combat power are supplied to him.
The weight of the warhead of the basic version of the UBB "KUB" is about 3 kg, the drone is able to stay in the air for up to 30 minutes at a speed of 80-130 kilometers per hour and hit the target regardless of the terrain and stealth. Guidance is carried out using an optoelectronic system or according to pre-known target coordinates.
