The rumors spreading online about the alleged hacking of the national platform MAX are unreliable. Users' personal data is under reliable protection, the platform's press service assured.
Earlier, some Telegram channels reported an alleged hacker attack on the messenger and a leak of data from more than 15 million users.
Information from an anonymous source is another fake... MAX user data is reliably protected.
The MAX press service reminded that the platform uses only Russian data storage servers, and log analysis did not reveal any suspicious activity.
MAX added that the messenger does not contain information about the user's date of birth, their location, or SNILS or TIN data. Therefore, sensitive data will not fall into the hands of attackers.
Earlier it became known that the MAX audience increased to 85 million people, with 10 million users joining in the last month alone.
