Special vehicle for delivery services began testing in Russia

It is made on the basis of an electric "GAZelle"

Tests of the front-wheel drive GAZelle SDV 3.5 truck, focused on delivery services, have begun in Russia. The car will be used in test mode by various marketplaces.

This is a convenient car for a courier. The driver will be able to deliver an order of magnitude more parcels than in a regular car.
Andrey Kuznetsov, Director of Development and Innovation at the Gorky Automobile Plant

GAZ claims that when using a regular courier car, the driver spends 70% of the time issuing orders, and drives the car for only 2.5 hours a day. The use of a new car developed at GAZ will improve performance and reduce costs.

The basis for the vehicle was the "GAZelle e-NN". It has a 136-horsepower synchronous electric motor and a 48 kW hour battery. The car has a range of up to 200 kilometers. The truck can accelerate up to 100 kilometers per hour.

The low-floor car has sliding side doors. There is a folding ramp at the rear. You can get into the cargo compartment from the cab.
