The "Ural Locomotives" plant sent the "Finist" electric train in an eight-car configuration for testing. They will be conducted by the Experimental Ring of the All-Russian Railway Research Institute.
It is planned to conduct braking and traction-energy tests, as well as heating of traction equipment and electromagnetic compatibility. The results are planned to be received in October of this year.
The ES104 "Finist" electric train is an analogue of the import-substituted Lastochka. Its maximum speed is up to 160 km/h.
It is worth noting that on August 10 of this year, the "Finist" was first launched on the Ufa – Beloretsk route. But the doors of the train jammed, and passengers were blocked inside for a while.
