AvtoVAZ continues to prepare for the serial assembly of LADA Iskra cars. While the hatchback is being tested in the mountains of Pyatigorsk, three "Iskras" have rolled off the company's assembly line, according to insiders. These are mid-range cars in white.
On July 26, the last working day before the unified corporate holiday, three Lada Iskra cars were assembled for the first time on line number five (assembly of Granta cars) using the assembly line method.
Interestingly, most of the interior parts of the assembly line Iskra are attached with clips. Although AvtoVAZ used self-tapping screws before. It is not yet known how this assembly will affect squeaks in the car. Surely, this will be clear after long-term tests.
As a reminder, AvtoVAZ enterprises are on corporate leave until August 18. During this time, the assembly lines at the plants were modernized.
