The Russian loitering munition "Lancet" has received a thermal imager after the update. Now the military will be able to use it even at night.
In the new version of the loitering munition "Lancet", a thermal imager appeared in the guidance system, which allows it to be used not only during the day, but also at night, depriving the enemy of the opportunity to operate safely at night.
Also at the Army-2024 forum, the "Lancet-E" with two different carriers of guided munitions was presented.
It is equipped with a television communication channel and several types of guidance systems, through which the target image is transmitted to the operator. The loitering munition is capable of hitting targets within a radius of up to 40 km, its maximum take-off weight is 12 kg.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian Navy will receive two nuclear submarines "Knyaz Pozharsky" and "Arkhangelsk" by the end of 2024. They will undergo state tests, following which they will be transferred to the fleet.
