«Triada-TKO» LLC, part of the «Kalashnikov» concern, has completed the development of a new version of the VKPO 3.2 all-weather field uniform kit and is ready to transfer it for testing. The president of the concern, Alan Lushnikov, said that the further fate of the kit will depend on the test results.
Innovative solutions in the VKPO 3.2
The development of VKPO 3.2 is part of a large-scale program to modernize uniforms and equipment. The new kit includes a number of improved elements, created taking into account modern requirements and technologies.
It includes:
- Promising body armor, equipped with a weight distribution system and an integrated transport system, which significantly increases ease of use and reduces the load on the fighter.
- Helmet with increased protective characteristics, which provides a higher level of head and neck protection, while maintaining comfort when worn.
- Additional equipment elements, including various accessories designed to improve efficiency and comfort in the field.
As a reminder, the modernized VKPO 3.2 was presented to First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov and Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Yunus-Bek Evkurov at the end of June at the Era military technopolis in Anapa.
