During the modernization process, specialists from the KMZ automatic control systems department carried out work on assembling the control cabinet and installing power and control equipment. There was also a complete integration of a modern CNC device into the HECKERT CW-1000.
The CNC horizontal machining center with a 60-tool magazine, model CW-1000, is designed for machining prismatic parts from four sides with dimensions up to 1000 mm along the edges. The HECKERT CW-1000 operator can perform drilling, boring, and milling operations with automatic tool change.
On this machine, it is possible to process parts with a high quality of accuracy — cylinder heads and G60 pistons, various kinds of bushings and housing products. In addition, two interchangeable pallets provided on the machine allow you to significantly speed up the process of manufacturing parts.
KMZ is engaged not only in its own products and improvements to samples of equipment operated in Russia, but also in import substitution. For example, it owns the creation of import-substituted printers for printing foundry cores, torque levers for aircraft, tracks for drilling rigs.
