The new aerial reconnaissance complex with the "Finist-1KR" UAV was developed by the Scientific and Production Center for Automation and Instrument Engineering named after Pilyugin (NPCAP, part of the Roscosmos State Corporation). NPCAP scientists created it on their own initiative.
Characteristics of the "Finist-1KR" UAV:
- made of composite materials and has a wingspan of 3.3 m;
- launched by a rubber catapult, which can be deployed in a maximum of 10 minutes;
- flight speed — from 60 to 120 km/h;
- route length — up to 300 km;
- flight duration — 4.5 hours;
- maximum take-off weight — 15 kg,
- payload — 3 kg;
- can be used as a means of reconnaissance or artillery fire adjustment at a distance of up to 60 km;
- if necessary, it is equipped with a GUES with a laser designator;
- if necessary, it can produce laser illumination of targets.
The International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2024" takes place in the Patriot Exhibition Center from August 12 to 14. This year, the "Army" forum is being held in a closed format for the first time: cancelled all entertainment events and free access to exhibitions for viewers.
