The "Yandex Weather" service has received an update that allows users to find out the water temperature for the next 10 days. The new feature will help to better plan recreation on water bodies or water sports, focusing on the forecast of a comfortable water temperature.
The forecast is available in the "Water Sports" section and covers both marine areas and the nearest water bodies within a radius of 5 km from the user's current location.
The prediction is carried out using the "Meteum" technology, which analyzes data from hydro posts and other weather parameters, providing accurate data on the average water temperature for each day.
Now users can find out in advance how warm the water will be, which makes planning water activities even more convenient and accurate.
