The Moscow Department of Transport has published statistics on the number of taxis in the capital. It turned out that about 192 thousand such cars move around the city. Moreover, these are taxis not only from Moscow, but also from the Moscow region.
The average age of taxis in Moscow is 3.2 years, in the Moscow region — 4.7 years.
Every day, 1.7 million passengers use taxi services in the city. Most often, cars are ordered on Friday evenings from 7 to 8 pm, and least of all on Sunday. Taxi services are also popular on Monday mornings (from 9:00 to 10:00).
The main destinations remain railway stations and airports, as well as the city center.
