Russian authorities may abandon the idea of raising the recycling fee. Journalists report this with reference to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which has adjusted its position.
At the moment, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia continues to analyze the current dynamics of the market for motor vehicles and specialized equipment in terms of the need to index the recycling fee.
Previously, the ministry published a draft decree on indexing the recycling fee, but the government has not yet adopted it. The initiative must first be considered. Experts in the automotive industry had no doubt that the recycling fee would be adopted, but the Ministry of Industry and Trade suddenly began to doubt.
Perhaps officials believe that raising the "recycling fee" will not affect Chinese automobile companies that do not have production in Russia. And such a measure will not force them to build factories in our country.
