Послужит на пользу бойцам: передовой российский комплекс разведки «Блокпост-Т» направят на борьбу с дронами

The system has already demonstrated high efficiency at the front

The Russian thermal imaging reconnaissance system with intelligent video analytics "Blokpost-T" may be modernized to counter drones at the front. This was announced by Vitaly Serov, General Designer of the Astron Optical-Mechanical Design Bureau.

According to him, thanks to the modular design of the product, the modernization potential of the complex is almost unlimited. The manufacturer can change the capabilities of radio communications, detection range and other functionality of the complex, depending on the tactical tasks.

We are now working on turning the complex into a full-fledged reconnaissance and target designation station that can provide coordinates to destruction assets. In addition, proposals have been received to modernize the complex to counter enemy drones, and there is already some practical experience.

Serov noted that "Blokpost-T" has already demonstrated high efficiency at the front, it is used to identify and eliminate threats to the positions of Russian military personnel.

We are receiving a large number of modernization proposals related to the fact that the complex is beginning to be used to solve completely new tactical tasks, in particular, the detection of enemy UAVs and target designation for destruction assets.
