A Chinese manufacturer has unveiled the PD-2900 kamikaze drone, a twin-engine UAV from the Russian-Iranian "Geranium"-Shahed series. The drone's manufacturer is currently unknown.
The claimed flight duration is 12 hours with a range of up to 2500 km and a speed of up to 250 km/h.
Experts were more interested in the drone's camouflage than its stated parameters. The camouflage pattern resembles that of the Russian 5th generation Su-57 fighter.
The "Geranium" unmanned aerial vehicles remain one of the most effective means of destroying fuel and ammunition depots, as well as heavy enemy equipment.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russia developed a "Doomsday" FPV drone for use in the event of nuclear strikes. This is a small UAV that can be compactly packed together with ground equipment.
