About 3,000 FPV drones from this manufacturer are supplied to the troops every month

Russian engineers are working on launching a swarm of FPV drones (a drone equipped with a camera that transmits first-person video to the operator) using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for the needs of the Russian Armed Forces, said a representative of the FPV drone developer «Veter».

According to him, the drone swarm will be controlled from a single workstation. A flight mission will be loaded into the FPV drone, after which the devices will be able to fly autonomously and transmit video.

About 3,000 FPV drones from the «Veter» company, including «Veter-10» and «Veter-13», are supplied to the Russian Armed Forces every month. The payload capacity of the first is 3.5 kg, the second is up to 8 kg. Both drones will be able to fly at a speed of 150 km/h, the flight range is up to 20 km.
