The Russian military is armed with the automated combat module "Arbalet-DM". It is designed to destroy enemy manpower, vehicles, firing points and aerial targets.
"Arbalet-DM" can be installed on tracked and wheeled armored vehicles, including "Tiger-M", stationary object security points and surface ships.
The module is designed for reconnaissance of enemy actions, target detection and battlefield surveillance. It is a rotating platform on which a sighting and observation system with a laser rangefinder and guidance drives, as well as weapons with ammunition, are mounted.
The operator's workplace includes remote weapon control, a digital panel with a built-in ballistic computer, and is located inside the habitable hull of the installation object.
Tactical and technical characteristics of the "Arbalet-DM" module:
- Full combat weight — 250 kg
- Armament — 6P49 "Kord" machine gun, caliber 12.7 mm, PKTM caliber 7.62 mm
- Sighting range — 2000 m during the day, 1500 m at night
- Stabilizer — two-plane, electromechanical
