Severstal Steel Solutions Group, which specializes in the design and manufacture of metal structures for industrial and civil construction, is modernizing its production facilities in Orel. Investments in the project, which will increase the output of metal structures to 48 thousand tons by 2028, will exceed 3 billion rubles.
With the launch of the new workshop in 2025, Orel will become one of the centers in Russia and the CIS for the production of complex critical metal structures, including large welded beams and box beams, for the construction of buildings and structures according to unique projects.
According to Manakov, the construction of a new industrial complex with high-tech equipment will allow the company to participate in the largest oil and gas infrastructure projects in Russia.
Builders have already completed more than 50% of the foundation work for the frame and are installing metal columns on new foundations. The excavation of the pit where the main technological equipment will be installed has also begun. The project is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2025.
