Russia is a strategic partner of Iran, and expanding ties with Moscow, including on issues related to international and regional security, is one of the priorities of the Islamic Republic, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on August 5 at a meeting with Secretary of the Russian Security Council Sergei Shoigu in Tehran.
