A Superjob survey showed that many residents of the capital are in favor of a partial or complete ban on electric scooters. 7 out of 10 citizens do not want to see personal mobility devices (PMD) on the streets of the city.
A third of respondents spoke in favor of banning trips in the central parts of Moscow. Another 42% of respondents want to completely ban PMD. Only 19% of the capital's residents are against any restrictions regarding riding electric scooters.
It is worth noting that the survey in Moscow was conducted after the introduction of restrictions on scooter parking in the center of St. Petersburg. A month earlier, 61% of respondents in the capital spoke in favor of a complete or partial ban on PMD trips.
