The Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant (KMZ) military-industrial holding will provide backup power to UAV control and maintenance complexes for the needs of Russian military personnel. This was reported by the KMZ press service.
The holding has concluded another contract for the manufacture and supply of AD8.1U autonomous diesel generators with a nominal power of 8 kW.
This is a KMZ-developed generator, it is manufactured taking into account the minimum permissible dimensions.
According to Smirnov, AD8.1U is smaller than similar diesel generators used by the military.
Features of the AD8.1U diesel generator:
- Dimensions: 920*580*700 mm
- weight — 190 kg
- power — 8 kW
- remote control from the console
- second degree of automation: backup power start
