Russian military personnel on the front lines have once again demonstrated wonders of ingenuity and engineering thought. They crossed the carriage of the M-46 gun and the barrel from the AK-130 naval gun, resulting in a powerful Frankenstein, helping to "dismantle" enemy fortified areas.
However, while the M-46 has separate loading, the new gun has unitary loading, that is, the ammunition is a single unit. At the same time its weight reaches 60 kg, which requires two soldiers to load it at once.
AK-130s were used on a large number of cruisers and destroyers of the Russian Navy, so there are a significant number of rounds for them in warehouses.
According to the presented footage, such artillery installations-Frankensteins have high accuracy, hitting even small targets.
Earlier www1.ru reported on the modernization of the T-72B3M tank. Armored vehicles received rubber protection for the rear of the turret and the engine-transmission compartment.
