The Rostec State Corporation has already produced over a thousand new Z-STS "Akhmat" armored vehicles. They have proven themselves well in combat conditions, according to the head of the organization, Sergey Chemezov.
He recalled that the development of the vehicle by the Remdiesel enterprise in 2023 was completed within 25 days.
We gifted the first ten vehicles to units of Chechen fighters. And today, more than one thousand units have already been produced. They have proven themselves very well.
The Z-STS "Akhmat" has a 6x6 wheel configuration, assembled on a serial frame using domestic components with a superstructure similar in protection class to "Typhoon" vehicles.
The armored vehicle is designed for operation at temperatures from minus 50 to plus 50 degrees, including in mountainous areas at altitudes up to 4,500 m. It can accommodate 10 people inside.
Earlier, Chemezov reported that Rostec has increased the production of aircraft bombs with UMPC. The state corporation has resumed the production of 3,000 kg caliber high-explosive aerial bombs.
